With a wealth of experience and passion for music education, Clara brings her expertise and dedication to every lesson.

Clara Engen

Clara Engen maintains a varied career as a performer, teacher, and advocate for the arts. She holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Violin Performance and History from Oberlin College and Conservatory, and a Master of Music in Curatorial, Critical, and Performance Studies from Bard College. Clara’s passion for sharing classical music has led her to make musical connections across the globe, including Panamá, Colombia, and Belize.

Clara believes in the benefits of Suzuki musical education to inspire curiosity and courage in students of all ages and levels. She tailors her teaching approach to meet each student’s unique needs, helping them grow as both musicians and individuals.
